Jan Nygren

Jan Nygren served as Minister of Coordination in the Social Democratic government of Prime Minister Ingvar Carlsson from 1994 – 1996. During that period Jan was the Minister responsible for Swedish Arms exports. Over the course of his political career, Jan held several prominent positions, including head of the Social Democratic Youth Organization (from 1978 – 1984), and chairman of the board of the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV). In addition, he has been the Vice President of the defense and aviation group Saab AB. Jan is a co-founder and partner of Consilio. In July 2020 he was appointed Chairman of the Board.
