Chinese tendencies – Swedish companies might be at risk

Following the recent EU decision to issue sanctions on four Chinese officials deemed responsible for the internment camps in Xinjiang, China is now striking back. We suspect that several Swedish companies might be at risk, given the current all time low of Sino-Swedish relations.
The Chinese response was prompt and included sanctions on ten EU citizens, among them EUP members and European China scholars, and four EU organisations. That means that the recently concluded Comprehensive Agreement on Investment, CAI, between China and the EU, may be in jeopardy.
